Your Instructor
Hello,
My name is Jen,
I am an accredited mindfulness based stillness meditation facilitator through the Yarra Valley Living Centre and studied with Paul Benson. I have been meditating for a long time, since first learning about yoga and meditation when I was 10 years old. The ability to be mindful in situations is a gift and a skill, one that has benefited me across many areas of life. My practice is not perfect and that is the fun thing about meditation, mindfulness, yoga or any practise that is self focused you are always learning, it is a journey not a destination.
My professional background is in the health industry, currently I am a PhD candidate exploring the impact of occupational violence on organisational culture. In the past I have also explored the role of gender and cultural background on leadership and occupational violence in the remote health setting.
